The Wrapped Pony:

This is good for straight wavy and curly hair and is perfect for the hair of medium and long length. Hair should be dry for making it. You’ll need a comb, ponytail holder and hairpins for making it.

How To Do It:

  • Make a high or low ponytail using a plain ponytail holder, but leave a 1-inch strand under the tail free from the holder.
  • Wrap the free hair around the base of the ponytail few times. Make sure that you’re covering ponytail holder completely.
  • Use a hairpin to secure the end of the wrapped.
  • Repeat the process on the other side of the part to create more twists. More twists will make ponytail look more beautiful.

The Flip Tail:

The fliptail is food for hair of medium and long length. You’ll need a comb and a ponytail holder for making it. Mostly it looks good on straight hair.

How To Do It:

    • Gather the hair into a low ponytail at the back side of the neck and secure it with a ponytail holder.
    • Then push the band down slightly to leave two or three inches of hair above it. Using your pointer and middle fingers, make a hole in the middle of the hair above the ponytail holder. With your other hand, flip the end of the ponytail under and up through the hole. Slowly pull the ponytail through. If the ponytail sticks out from the head too much, gently pull the holder down to make the hair look smooth.

The Double Twist:

Double twist is good for straight and curly hair. It is good for hair of every length. Hair should be dry or damp for making this style. You’ll need a brush or wide-tooth comb, fine-tooth comb and hair clips.

How To Do It:

    • Use the brush or wide-tooth comb to remove tangles. With the help of fine-tooth comb, divide hair in the middle or to one side.
    • Gather a small section of hair, approximately an inch wide, from one side of the part at the front of the head. Tightly twist the section toward the part clockwise, so the twist opens upward rather than downward. Keep the twist close to the scalp, working in more hair as you go, and ending the twist at the crown of the head.
    • Secure with a pretty clip at the crown. Repeat on the other side of the part.

The Same Side Dutch Braid:

The same side dutch braid looks good on every type of hair. It looks more elegant if you have hair of medium or long length. Before making it make hair damp with spray bottle. You’ll need a brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, and one hairband.

How To Do It:

  • Starting at the front right side of the head, begin Dutch braiding.
  • Bring the hair of right side in normally for the Dutch Braid, but bring the hair of left side over the top of the head to be included in the braid on the side.
  • When you are at the base of the head, you simply braid the rest of the hair into a regular side braid and tie off with a hairband.

Side Ponytail Combo:

Side ponytail looks good if you have long hair. It is for every hair type, whether straight, curly or wavy. Hair should be dry for making it. You’ll need Rat-tail comb and two hairbands.

How To Do It:

  • Tie hair loosely at the base of the neck and to the side, making a ponytail.
  • Wrap a piece of hair around the elastic to hide it.
  • Make fishtail braid a few pieces or either continue all the way down, or stop after a section and repeat step one.
